    On Z51 equipped C6’s you can improve the braking, looks and handling of your Corvette with Baer’s Z51 Brake Rotor Upgrade Kit. They also share in common internally thicker rotors where the pads ride so that heat can be drawn away from the fire path to improve braking performance. This feature allows Baer to offer a manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty against warpage to the original purchaser. Both rotors are the two-piece design with a billet aluminum hat which is anodized black. The hats are secured to the rotor ring with stainless steel hardware and it’s the aluminum hat that allows these rotors to be almost 4 lbs. lighter than the stock rotors. By being lighter it improves the unsprung weight and thereby improves handling. The front rotors are the same diameter as the stock rotors while the rears are 14” vs. the stock 12-1/4” rotors. Not only does the size improve braking it also fills up the stock spoked rear wheel for a better look. The rear rotors come with rear caliper relocating brackets and you’ll find the entire kit to be an easy, bolt-on operation.
