    From 1988-96 Chevrolet offered, as an option on standard equipment Corvettes, the J55 front brake upgrade. It was standard equipment on the factory hot rods; Grand Sport and Collector Edition models. Now you can upgrade 1988-96 models with this factory option, but with the benefit of today’s slotted rotor technology. 1988-96 standard equipment Corvettes were equipped from the factory with dual calipers, but only 12” rotors. This conversion kit will improve your stopping power by 10% with Girling dual piston calipers and sport slotted 13” rotors. Also included with the kit are Hawk HPS brake pads, rubber hoses and all necessary mounting brackets.
